It's known as the Great Commission. It is Christ's commandment for us to be witnesses for Him where we are, and "to the ends of the earth." This commandment is a guiding principle of our church-- the word "missionary" is in our very name.
Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church actively supports missions around the world through the American Baptist Association, as well as direct support of missions like Kyle Foster in Israel, Adolfo Gonzalez in Leon, Mexico, the prison ministry of Dave Shockey, the local jail ministry in our area, the Missionary Baptist Student Fellowship at Henderson College, and the Central Arkansas Baptist Bible Institute. We also have close association with the Gideons International, and raise love offerings when necessary for others in need.
