Larry Fry

Pastor

Brother Larry Fry has been the pastor of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church since 2008 and both he and his wife Tammie serve in many capacities at the church. The Fry's have two grown children, Marshall and Ricky Fry, and recently adopted Myleigh and Malechi Fry. Bro Fry loves music and plays the acoustic guitar every service. He received his Master's degree in Divinity studies from Central Arkansas Baptist Bible Institute.

fRED cOX

aDULT bIBLE tEACHER /CHURCH TREASURER

Bro. Fred Cox has been a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church longer than anyone else in the congregation. He was baptized in 1960 in the Saline River not far from the church. Bro. Cox teaches Sunday School and Wednesday night Bible study. His lessons are very thorough and informative and Bro. Cox frequently uses maps, demonstrations and object lessons to teach. His favorite Bible verse is Matthew 10:28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both the soul and body in hell."

Dave Hill

Deacon

Bro. Dave Hill is the longest tenured deacon in our church.  He served overseas in the military during the Korean war and has a wealth of information from both the Bible and history.  We look to Bro. Hill for insight even when answers are hard to find.  He is always willing help in whatever capacity the Lord needs. His favorite Bible verse is Matthew 11:28, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Rick Marshall

Deacon

Bro. Rick Marshall has been a deacon for nearly 40 years and has been married to his wife Carla for 59 years.  Bro. Marshall's experience helps Pleasant Hill chart a course into the future in a way that best honors God. His favorite Bible verse is Romans 10:13, "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Hugh McWhorter

Bro. Hugh McWhorter has been a Deacon in our church for several years and is married to his wife, Kay.  Bro. McWhorter served overseas in the army and is a great asset to our Deacon body. Like many of the men at our church, is always willing to volunteer. Bro. McWhorter's favorite Bible verse is John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
